Greetings!
We invite all St. Charles City-County Library staff to join the monthly ‘Ask the Boss‘ virtual town hall meeting, taking place on the second Tuesday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, from 8:00 AM to 8:40 AM.
As our CEO, John Greifzu, mentioned in his Stafftalk message on January 9, 2026, this monthly all-staff forum aims to enhance access to leadership and provide consistent opportunities for staff to engage with the Executive team, ask questions, provide input, and receive updates on key initiatives and organizational priorities.
Staff may submit suggestions for agenda items and/or questions that they would like discussed at the monthly ‘Ask the Boss‘ meeting via this Ask the Boss Monthly Meeting Agenda Items and Questions Form. Submissions received by 5:00 pm on the Wednesday prior to the meeting (Wednesday, March 4th) will be reviewed and considered as we prepare the agenda. Please note that individual personnel matters and branch- or department-level items will not be discussed.
Staff who wish to attend the meeting but are scheduled to begin work at 9:00 AM should participate from their assigned branch, either on their work computer or in a conference room (Branch Managers will facilitate this). Staff working later in the day or who are scheduled to be off may attend from home or any library branch. If attending from a branch that is not their home branch, staff should email the Branch Manager at the branch they plan to visit for instructions on entering the building and the location of the meeting room.
Please note that attendance is not mandatory and no registration is required. Non-exempt staff will be compensated for attending the meeting and should submit a timesheet adjustment for their supervisor’s approval.
For easy access, meeting instructions (Zoom link and passcode) will be available on the Intranet home page and Library Market, in addition to this Google Calendar invitation.
