ILL (MOBIUS and WorldShare)

In June 2024, the MOBIUS system moved from using software from Innovative/Clarivate to a new open source software called OpenRS (EBSCO). Please note that this new software is NOT a finished product and that there are still many limitations and known issues (see document below). The estimated date of completion is sometime in fall 2025.

If items cannot be found using MOBIUS, customers and staff can place ILL requests instead. All ILL requests remain in Inactive status until a staff member from the ILL office reviews and exports it to the OCLC WorldShare system.

Article Request 

If a customer needs to request an article from a journal, please email the request to [email protected]. Include the following information: 

• Customer name, barcode, and email address (journal articles are emailed through WorldShare so an email address is required)
• Title and author of the article
• Name of journal/publication
• Volume and Issue number
• Date of the specific issue (or volume if no issue listed)
• Page numbers of the article
• Date of when article is needed by 

ILL staff will put in the request and will be in contact with the customer if the request is successful or unsuccessful.
