Thanks to You – April 2025 Winners

Library Team,

Congratulations to the April 2025 “Thanks to You” winners:

Jen Dobbs (Central Services):
“Jen was a pleasure to work with! She was efficient and very patient through the process for 4 kids and forgetting my checkbook. Great customer service! Will definitely recommend it to others.”

Alaina Gerdemann (Kathryn Linnemann):
“A woman came to the front desk for help with her Kindle. She said the reference desk was unable to help her. She was trying to pull up a book on LIbby but her account was tied to her son’s amazon account and the books went to him. I was perplexed, but Alaina at the other desk said,” Oh, I had that same issue with my Dad!” She spent 20 minutes with the customer and was able to set her up to get her own books! She was so grateful, and I was so impressed with Alaina! I don’t know if anyone else would have been able to help the customer!”

Lisa Tucker (Augusta):
“The Mystery Quilt 2025 Team knocked it out of the safari park! It’s obvious that this team are generous with not only their time, but also their skills and experience, and I’m already looking forward to participating in my second Mystery Quilt program in 2026. From explaining fabric choices and clearly outlining pre-cutting and -sewing steps, to allowing for choose-your-own-adventure finishing and – my favorite – and option to participate virtually, every detail was so well thought-out and accessible to all abilities, this program is clearly a hidden treasure in STC County and beyond. My only regret is not finding out about it sooner!”

Caroline Holden ( Kathryn Linnemann):
“Caroline helped me with difficult fax, volunteered and stayed the whole time to assist me.”

Congratulations to all of the nominees. Keep up the amazing work! During the second month of “Thanks to You ” we had 80 nominations from staff and patrons, and the winners were drawn randomly.

We are currently accepting nominations for the month of May. Submit nominations here: “Thanks to You” Nomination Form.

Best,
